 [Cu₅(daci)₄(H_–2daci)₂]⁶⁺ cations (daci =1,3-diamino-1,2,3-trideoxy-cis-inositol) andSO₄^2–form a porous network with a crystalline, hydrated (30 °C) and an amorphous, dehydrated (150 °C) phase. Although this transition is a complex multi-step reaction, it is entirely reversible.
